Information for Families
Melancon Pharmacy has provided nursing home service to Acadiana for more than 40 years. We are always available to meet with the patient and family members to discuss concerns or special requests regarding medication therapy and management. We encourage questions and are available to look over medication profiles.

Information for Facilities
Our Consultant Pharmacist has had many years of experience working with facilities through DHH surveys and is very familiar with up-to-date DHH, CMS, and Joint Commission Standards as they apply to the facility. We assist facilities in policy and procedure development, formulary development and have proven methods of reducing skilled nursing costs. We also offer monthly pharmacy consultations as required by DHH and are available for staff in-services and training as needed.
